Not sure what the situation is in the tournament, close to bubble, ITM etc, and not sure what is the read you have on the villain. Assuming no reads, I think this is clearly a fold with a 20BB stack. Usually, 4x raises are indicative of a hand that villain doesn’t want much action with, and is more or less going to make the call against a standard opponent’s shove. 88 is probably in the bottom of that range for me. Any smaller pairs, if I want to raise, I will try not to lose a lot of chips since a 3-bet is an indication that at best, I am flipping. There are times when I will call this raise and try to make a play if the board is paired like the one here, but it is pretty unlikely.
