So pre flop is pretty standard and my thinking is pretty much i have a value hand so i will raise for value and i get flatted from the btn
Its a pretty new table so i have no real reads on the table but the guy i was playing the pot with had been pretty active the last few rotation`s
on the flop i decided to continue for about 40% which is my standard c-bet sizing, perhaps i could have gone bigger considering his hand range does have alot of draws and im ranging him on all broadways suited and unsuited all PP and some low suited connectors
when he 3 bets me im thinking he could have AJ A9 99 Ax Jx some 9x and a bunch of draws or just random low PP he is bluffing or semi bluffing with
so i decide to flat to keep in his whole range and not just get it in when im behind with a plan to check call all turns and evaluate on the river depending on what falls off
Turn comes and it seems like a decent card for me so i continue with my plan of check calling
on the river its pretty much a brick and i decide that check calling is best as i could get value from betting vs a weaker ace but thats about it and if i check it leaves him room to spew and bluff, when he bets all in i am concerned as i dont know if he is capable of bluffing this spot with missed draws being pretty new to the table and stick with my plan.
the reason i posted the hand the guy turned up with i did not expect i will give the result after i get some more opinions as i dont want it to influence what people think of the hand and spot etc

Against you who is one of the other bigger stacks at the table he is likely to flat in position where a shorter stack he we be more happy to 3-bet get all in pre-flop with JJ or 99. It should be pritty clear to him you have an Ace after calling his turn bet so when he shoves River it’s only ever a bluff or a boat imo. Tough decision to fold there……

Well i called and he turned over ace king which i did not expect at all and i lost the pot, starting to think maybe i should tighten my call down ranges in these big pots at these stages cos recently i been getting pretty deep like this and making what i think are decent calls and busting
