Home game….. $25 buy in 18 players deep stack poker…..blinds are 1000/2000 no ante…..my stakes size is 24k…. it folds around to me and I raise to 5k from the cut off with Ad10C from the cut off , button folds, sm calls and bb folds……flop 4d9dJd , sm shoves 14.5k……..I tank , if I call and win it puts me in great shape to take down the tourney, if I lose Im stuck with 4k……..Im drawing to the nut flush and back door straight…….only top 3 get paid and there is me and 6 other players left………well I call and the turn was a blank and river a blank…….thank you for your time and your input is what I will use to improve……

Well unless your numbers are wrong for the small and big, thats not deepstack at all , you have 12 bb to start the hand. If it folds to me in CO w 12bb i just jam.

Was suppose to put “not deep stack”………jamming there is the correct play, now that I think about it….I do need to work on thought process while in a hand…I know the jam should be automatic …….thanks for your input…

i think the jam is good. however, given the way the hand was played i would have called on the flop like you did
