Hi everyone,

First topic here, sorry about my english.

I live in Brazil and we have a circuit tournament called BSOP. The buy in for main event is R$1520 and rake is R$280 (18,4%), and im beginning to stake some guys and im also considering playing. Most guys i stake have a solid 180man strategy but dont have enough mtt experience, and will probably be leaking money when effective stacks are big enough and facing a good oponent in a difficult spot. And add to the fact i give back 20 to 30% of their profits (when the profit is higher than my loss ofc), do you think it should be a solid profit opportunity?

Thanks in advance.

It's going to be very difficult to beat a rake like that over the long term.  If the players are bad enough though it might be possible.

yeah, going to be tough to beat that rake.  if you were super confident in their abilities i might say go for it, but since it sounds like you have SOME concerns in that area, it does not sound good to me.

Id rather put them in a boat load of online tourneys with the money
