Interesting hand I had. I won the hand and I think I played it correctly, but wondered how I would've played it if I had the hand and spot the villian with AA had.

As you will see I opened with 66, got 3 bet but still intended to call, hated it but still had value to set mine just! or I could also have the best hand against broadway cards and worth seeing a flop all be it OOP (agree? don't agree?). His 3 bet was not a large one, so I just don't think I could fold.  Was hoping the short stacker would shove so I could fold, but he just called the 3 bet to obviously induce me to call so I did, gave me even more value.

Assuming I played the hand OK, (Please critique if you think not) what would you have done in the position of villian with AA? Should he shove and try and isolate one caller, either I would shove or if I fold the 3 better would definitely call. Is his play OK? His so short stacked he wants to try to triple up. Would you do the same here? What is optimal?

Any reg would instantly recognize his oop flat to a 3bet from a reshove stack and would flag it as possibly AA or KK immediately. He should 4 bet jam this all day to make it look weaker and he is getting called by the 3 bettor regardless. You played it perfect because if you put the original 3 bettor on an overpair and hit your set you stack him every time especially at this buyin level. I like your line on all streets perfect NH!

If I'm the villain with AA with his stack, I am 4 bet shoving all day…I am not going to get cute, I want to widen my range and preferably get it in with 1 player and when called get max value.  If he shoves there he is making you muck your hand imo with the sb still having to make his play and you have to figure your 66 is no good.  Best of luck at the tables.
