Opener is running a 51/22 through 151 hands. Caller is 26/8 through 62. Is this shove standard, or too high variance? It's pre-ante. Does anyone like simply peeling a flop here to reduce variance, or is this a break-your-arm-off value shove against droolers like this?

Just making sure this isn't too spewy, because I'm insta-jamming in this spot pretty much every time. Hope it's not awful.

I would actually be a bit worried about a min raise from someone like that, have all their opens been min? If so then I think you can shove if not I think you could fold because if fish like that usually 3x and then all of a sudden min raise it is usually a monster

I get that you are going to be successful a tremendous amount of time, I like the play, but isn't it better to 3 bet? there is no chance you get called by worse I doubt they are capable of 4betting All in light so if they do you can fold and still have 24 BBs.  if they call you reasses on the flop but have a chance to stack em with the right flops (2 pair, flush draws) or bluff em off by donking or check raising all in, since you took over the initiative, or simply let it go.  I'd like to see what others think maybe we are too short to 3 bet.

Never like shoving 30bbs, although depending on table dynamics, as you say, if they are droolers, should get through alot. Don't want to 3 bet OOP here this short with such a marginal hand. I would prefer the shove squeeze. Flatting an option? Weak I suppose and flop dependent.  Shove or fold would be the line I would take, and according to your stats and read on villians should be a profitable play.

+1 for jamming here with super laggy villain. flatter is never that strong here unless he a competent reg and you have reads on him, so great spot to squeeze. Not a massive fan of 3betting as if they flat and you miss your in an awkward spot.

Only question is a min raise his standard open since you have seen him open a lot? If it is his standard open and 23bb's effective then the shove is just fine.

One thing to keep in mind, a super lag guy is also calling a lot lighter and will call with AT and AJ which are hands you would expect others to fold. So you can opt for a lower variance play given ur opponent is calling with hands u are trying to get to fold.
