I wondered if I am shoving too loose UTG with my small pocket pairs at a full table. The maximum number of bigs I shove UTG with each pocket pair is as follows –
22 – 12bgs
33 – 13bgs
44 – 14bgs
55 – 15bgs
66 – 16bgs
77 – 17bgs
88 – 18bgs
99 – 19bgs
Is this a good rule of thumb for a 10min blind structure? (I obviously adjust depending on opponent tendencies, My image and ICM consideration).
Should I adjust it accordinging for a Turbo or 15 min blind structure? If so by how much?
Any help with this would be really appreciated!!
Personally im shoving 77+ w/ 12bbs utg. Ive tried to just muck 22-55'ish' utg as it seemed to be -ev for me. Just my 2cents. I also think that min-opening utg w/ 88-99 and approx.18bbs is a better option if the action goes nuts behind you, allowing you to fold and still have 16bbs'ish'. Obv. folding to single action w/ 99 and 18bbs is probly not good tho. But when it goes 3-bet, 4bet, jam you can fold your 99 comfortably. Hope this helps, I dont post much in here.
