The bluff is good as a range play but stacks are just not deep enough and i don't think any hand that villian is raising for value on the river is folding especially not at these stakes. I probaly would be folding in most cases as i would have better hands within my range to call you with but im not your average player.

Thanks for posting volture and yep, what you say about stack sizes it's def true, unfortunately when i was about to fold i saw the As and thought that i would shove all the flushes+ all the T9 99 etc so i couldnt resist and i tried this out…
+ I assumed he would play (and fold to a shove) AJ this way but maybe im overestimating villain capabilities
What do you think about my other bluff i posted recently ?

I saw the bluff apsolutely sick play even though you got called.. You picked one of the best bluffing hands.. you have blockers to AK, AJ, QT, the Nutflush since you have an Ace which makes it less likely your opponent does and the nut straight. The only problem is, are your opponents really ever going to fold these hands to Min raise? I would say the majority of players in the Big $30 are recreational and making sophisticated plays against these people is not how you beat them for the simple fact they will just call based on their hand strength and pay little attention to what your representing. If you are going to bluff like this you need to go all in.. I would ditch the 44s here if i was that player if you did that because nobody ever bluffs like this but not to a min raise.

i knew the villain was a reg in that hand but yeah actually i did bet too small in that hand too =( …villain bets 2300ish and i make it 6000…gosh i should have gone biggerrrrrrr…he tanked a lot and then called off but i like my play there, thanks for confirming my thesis that i just got unlucky in running over 44, and a villain not good enough to fold it…

I agree there's not really room to push him out and I doubt he's raising as wide as you think (also you block AJ). I'm also not a fan the river value bet that started all of this off, I really can't see you getting called by much worse, just need to ck/decide IMO.
i was targeting low pp and lesser 9s but now i realize it's really a thin target, and i agree that on that J river should be a check/decide (fold most of the times)…
do you like this other one ?
