Hello,

While these hands don't have too much in common, they do have in common that I held 33, and that I was in that awkward 10-20 BB range.

Hand 1:

A simple open push/fold situation.  I consider the lowest pairs a tricky group of holdings for which to determine whether they belong in the open push or fold range.  It seems to me that as certain villain or position range factors move up or down, all the low pairs and ace-rag holdings can rapidly leave or enter the push or fold range.

5$ rebuy/addon turbo, ITM. I believe I have been playing aggressively, not needing to get out of line because I was dealt some good holdings, holding true for value when ahead.  So my image is good to newbies I think but nothing special to regs.

Julmaj1 (HJ): BB = 7.6, t18918

MauiBudzzz (BTN): BB = 6.0, t14900
yunmeng (SB): BB = 9.3, t23311
hilie2368 (BB): BB = 16.6, t41420
Hero (UTG): BB = 14.3, t35861
UGAPETE (UTG+1): BB = 22.1, t55150

Pre Flop: (t5750) Hero is with 3 of clubs 3 of spades

Not much help in the way of reads, but the BB has been playing 18/12, 3betting 11% and folding to steal 80%.  The SB has been playing 19/18 3betting 10% and folding to steal 100% but I only have 50 hands on him.

Hero?

Hero folds.

Hand 2:

A little more interesting – we are 4 handed but still approaching the cash in a 6max 5$ turbo.  The table has just been switched around and will continue to do so rapidly as people bust.

Pre Flop: (t1140) Hero is with 3 of clubs 3 of spades
1 fold, clark55530 raises to t1760.00, CaptainKirk72 calls t1460,

So, we have a standard open from the table big stack but a strange call from the SB.

BTN, clark55530, has been playing 39/22, 3betting 7.5% and open limping 16%, folding to reshove 33% and calling reshove 67%.  We are short handed, and he seems competant to good, so I put him on any ace, any suited broadway, K9o+, any pair, QJo+, 98s+.

SB, CaptainKirk, has been playing 30/19, 3betting 8% open limping 6%.  More importantly, he flatted a 3x open with only 5BB behind.  What does this mean about his range?  Honestly I don't know and would look to the good people of TPE for insight.

So I have what seems like a few options.  I could fold because I am out of position and don't know how to range the SB caller, and because it's an easy way to minimize any losses.

I could shove because it could push out the opener, and get the SB heads up with lots of dead money.  But the problem is, how often will it do this?  I'm not too happy of the opener calls my reshove, though that would be ok if I was heads up against him, but the SB is unlikely to fold. But of course, even if they don't fold, I could win a huge pot.

Then I could flat, looking to set mine.  I close the action against two players both showing aggression/willingness to put chips in, I have decent immediate+implied odds to get value from the opener/stack the SB or both if I flop a 3.  This option kind of sucks though because I need to protect my stack, and this move isn't really doing that.

Hero calls t1160

Flop: (t5520) 5 of clubs 4 of diamonds J of clubs (3 players)
CaptainKirk72 bets t3340 all in, Hero folds.

Thanks for reading guys.  Any feedback is always most appreciated.

I realized after posting this that with 14BB, UTG, opening to 2BB is also an option.  It just doesn't seem great to me becuse I'd have to fold to a raise and would be OOP against any callers except the blinds.

I am working on using ProPokerTools calculator but I haven't figured out how to properly calculate push/fold situations yet.
