$22 6k on Merge

I had been showing a fair amount of aggression before this but have only gotten to showdown with good hands. I'm wondering about my play on the turn. The ck/r on the turn seems strange to me and I really don't put him on a good hand. That being said, should I just be flatting here and letting villain continue on the river? I think my raise pretty much says I've got a monster. Any thoughts on how to play the hand differently would be great.

I suggest you dont post results at first when you want hands advice. Definitely on this very dry board i would call turn giving a chance for a river bluff or catch up to second best hand from villain. Just one thing, you need to be ready to call a bet on non pairing club river.

Raising his c/r shows a lot of strength. I would have  just called to get another street of value on the river. Raising also could put you into a  tough decision if he were to come over the top.

Call, don't re-raise him on the Turn. If the river is a club, call. If it isn't, raise.

He'll fire the river close to 100%

Do you have reads on this villain?  (I'm asking because I kind of do, and I know how I'd play it against him…but we'll assume you're either readless or have very limited reads on him.)

It makes no sense for villain to have a real hand here. He's not checking QJ or 66 twice.

Facing this turn c/r I'd say his value range is made up of three combos of pocket deuces. And then I'd look at my cards and snicker.

He could also have a combo draw like 54cc or 43cc, but it seems like he's getting a good price to check/call and try to hit rather than c/r and open up his stack to a 3bet.

He reps nothing, just call and let him bluff the river.

+1, although based on his goofy turn c/r I’m not sure what we’re getting value from if we raise a non-club river. We also have to be worried about offsuit aces, nines, threes, fours, and fives. (if we decide to put him on some kind of combo draw based on the turn action)
