This is from a €9+€1 deepstack on Stars.fr. I've been pretty active at the table, villain is 26/10 over about 40 hands.

There are two questions here.

1) The villain's line was really weird to me and when he 3bet the turn I thought there was a decent chance he had a better flush so I flatted to pot control against it. Is that just too nitty against this player? Obv I have 2 outs even to a better flush but should I just 4bet/get it in here and hope he goes with a draw/set etc?

2) Given that I have pot controlled turn, should I just call river or raise for value? If I do then am I calling his 3bet jam? If the plan is to call the 3bet jam then is it better to just 4bet/call turn?

As a general rule, I regard donk min bets as a “check” unless I'm given other info or reads on the player.

As played I definitely think I have the best hand after the river, so want to bet for value as long as a worst hand can call me, and there a plenty of worse

hands that can call. Jx, 7x, 2 pairs, trip 4s etc.

From his 3 bet on turn, it's likely he got a straight or two pair, sure he might have a better flush or a set, but not believing that yet.

His min bet on river, as stated regarded as a check so I'm gonna bet for value. If he shoves or raises river then his probably made me a believer now and would hate

it but I think I would have to fold. Again as a general rule check/raise rivers are rarely bluffs.

I personally 4 bet get it in on the turn.  IMO if you are going to be opening 10d8d utg and smash the flop as you did, I am going for max value.  Sure the villain may have a bigger flush, but if he does..gg and fire up another.  On the turn I am 4 bet jamming knowing I have my flush and a straight flush draw to boot.  The last thing that I would want to see is a diamond on riv that could kill the action.  To me on river he it is a blocker trying to get to sd, so I bet for value.  If he has the nutz, I think the villain bets larger or shoves for value.  Best of luck at the tables.

These minimum donk bets are ridiculous.  On the flop I almost 100% raise these.  In this case i may have raised more.  If it checked to me on that flop, being such a wet flop, i would bete more like 2/3 pot.  So i would probably make it about 1k.  The same for the turn, I would look to raise his idiot donk bet to about 2/3 pot to about 2k.  After his tiurn raise, though, I reconsider and probably would call dwon, even his ridic min bet on the river.  You have to ask yourself if you raise the river, what is calling that you beat?  6d5d, 6d3d, 6d2d, 5d3d, 5d2d, and 3d2d are the only flushes left.  How many of those can call a decent sized raise on the river?  T8 for a straight maybe.  If you get 3 bet on the river you have to fold.

It may seem sick, but I think calling down after his turn raise seems to be the best.

clicking it back seems like the worst option tho? we get minimal value when he calls and we open the betting to fold again. unless you intend to induce and stack off?
