hey hey

reads – V has been playing very aggressive, raising a ton pre and calls quite often pre too.

ott i decided to pot control, does anyone prefer firing turn and re-evaluating river? i personally think checking turn is fine , as we can induce v to bluff with worse/draws. I also don’t think checking is bad because if v does have a draw they’ll only likely improve like 18% of the time anyway , thats not that often so we do get value by c/c turn if v has draws/bluffs in their range they may also bet worse hands like Qx and 9x. As for betting we could bet turn to get value from those hands as well , we just have to weigh up which line is better here? we may lose value if the turn goes check/check as a draw will likely call ott and fold once we get to the river. worse qx will call turn too. I think betting turn is also good to get value from 9x as well. Obv the river is not good if v does have 9x in their range but v is also going to have bluffs in their range otr. v bet otr is quite small , i reckon if they had 9x they probably would of made it bigger then this so that they can get value from Qx. Their range OTR includes missed draws/air, i’m not sure if they would value bet worse Qx which we could be ahead of as well. so yeah for me its a call otr and as for turn i dont mind the check , though betting turn and re-evaluating river is something we could do too. which one do you prefer?

thoughts?

cheers.

I’d limp to induce pre if he’s that aggressive.

raising it and taking it down pre is good idea too? if he’s not folding pre i still dont mind raising QT as our hand has tons of equity vs a very wide range of hands..but yeah i guess limping cant be bad …
