I think the play here is fine. Cbet sizing is maybe a little too small and encourages a lot of Ax and Kx hands to call. I tend to make cbets in the region of around half pot or just under this early.
Small pairs are calling you here virtually 100% plus Ax and maybe Kx hands. Also villain can be slowplaying a 7 or 55 for sure therefore checking back the turn is fine as your hand still has showdown value.
When you whiff the river and villain bets 350 just give up. I suspect he is now betting a made hand or maybe even a smallish pair for value hoping you will call with AK/AQ or a weakish made hand yourself. He could of course be running a bluff but very doubtful on that board at these stakes.
By the way, I dont think it really matters whether it is a rebuy or not. Just make +EV decisions in both. It is ok to gamble a bit more in rebuys but not essential in my opinion as people will gamble enough for you to gain enough situations to build a stack.
