I entered this hand because the BB had about 1 BB left and a decent bounty. Unfortunately he folded (unexpected). His range should have been literally any 2 cards. My plan was to open-fold if needed. I figured opening from my position would get me some credit and anyone with a real hand would still re-raise to isolate the bounty or squeeze near the button (standard). I got 2 callers so either the first caller was slow playing hoping for a raise (I doubt it) or everyone was playing wider than the top 10% of hands and probably no pairs.
I think my flop bet was standard?
On the turn I was about to shove but I was still worried about my kicker (QJ and Q9 are possible). I figured I had blockers to both the flush and straight draws so my goal with the turn bet was to try and block larger Qs and not lose anyone else while still charging to draw.
I checked the river thinking I might get more value inducing a bluff as I couldn’t think of any made-hands for V since a larger Q is a lot less likely now. A backdoor flush is the only draw that made it.
What do you think?

Easy call on the river, but I don’t like your flop bet, and I think it’s telling that the only justification you have for it is “standard”. The fact that after betting what is clearly a strong hand on the flop, you can no longer feel good about playing it strongly, indicates that you probably shouldn’t have bet. If you believe (with good reason) that betting the flop will narrow your opponents’ ranges to that point, then don’t bet the flop. Roughly the same logic applies to the turn.

Interesting point. What alternate line would you consider from the flop. Call it down?
I’m having trouble separating the results from my thinking. V had 8cTc so called with second pair and backdoor straight and flush draws on the flop. On the turn he improved slightly to second-pair with a flush draw. I’m not sure if he is calling a 60%-pot bet on the turn. It ends up in the same place either way I suppose, considering the river, but I think I can fold any other river card to a shove…wdyt?
