As i promised here is 1 of the several hands i intend to share with the TPE nation from my final table at the wsop circuit stop in Atlantic city, if you are not aware i finished 3rd in event #2 for $17,300 on Dec 05/06 2010. During the 2 day event i ran into several interesting spots and i thought i would start off with a bang by sharing what i see as a very very very tough spot. Heres how it plays out, at the time we are at the 100/200 level and i have been at the table for 3 orbits and came to the table with 150 bbs or 30k, the starting stack for the tourney was 12k so im in great position, under the gun limps for 200 and i took notice that he been limping big and raising light as that was the case with his showdown value to that point, so its folded to dude on my right and he makes it 850 and i know this player very well so his range there isnt that wide, i look down at 88 and obv flat im in mid position so flatting there is super standard its folded to the cutoff who is on 35 bigs and he flat calls so that alarms me button and blinds get out of the way and the utg limper makes it 3k and the original raiser tank calls and now its on me and have semi short stack behind me. Takeing all this into account what should TTWIST do???????

Very tough spot. I can't imagine doing anything but folding. There has just been too much action and you don't know what action is yet to come. If you call the 3k and the shorty shoves his remaining 6-7k, does one of the other guys shove over that and so on. If you were the last to act after the 3K re-raise I could see calling but with all the others in the pot I wouldn't.

Well, I'm glad you brought this hand to everyone.  Since I actually saw the hand played live, I'll hold my normal knucklehead comments for later, lol.  Seriously, with what you said, I would fold.

Great hand to talk about, plus others.  What's next.

I definitely just muck here.  I mean sure the utg limp/raiser could be on a move, but you got a guy who makes it 800 then calls a raise to 3k.  I feel like your only equity in this hand will be from the strength of your hand because if you are going to shove here I assume you are getting called – probably with the worst of it.

Stacksizes of all the other players in the pot would be a big help…

Even that said though i would say its a muck with the 35bb stack, especially given your reads on the players involved

tbh i dont think this is all that tough and think it's a fold. and if your read is that EP is limping big hands a lot i might contemplate folding the first time around (although if the iso-raiser is as deep as we are then i'd prob call).

i think i'd pretty easily fold TT and start thinking with JJ/QQ.

IMHO fold.

I have not looked at other responses yet so I'm curious if I'm correct.

I actually think JJ is a fold here as well.

If I look at this from a logical mathematical perspective, I would say fold. Unless I had a solid read on some kind of donk play I would walk away from this hand given our stack size.

fwiw the raisers had 100 bb range and its my 150+ bb stack that im pondering so if the short stack behind me is out of the way i will def. set mind here because im so damn deep and so are the others. I obv fold and of course A82 rainbow with utg holding AA and initial reraiser holds AK and i spike my 1 outer on the turn with the case 8 which would have given me Quads, oh what could of been

Yeah, I snap muck in that spot and puke when the board runs out.
