** Summary **

hey hey

V has limped in from UTG with KQo with just over 60bb behind and there was also a limp from the button who had 90ish bb. Hero was on bb with AQs with around 12bb , hero shoves and they both call.

I reckon this is probably a fold , what’s your r/c range vs this opponent?  I find it unlikely that they’ll just 3-bet shove AA/KK here or just anything better then our hand i also find it unlikely they’ll just jam a very wide range lol.

thoughts please?

cheers.

I probably fold here, honestly. With so many players left to act I think villain’s range gets a lot tighter, especially when some players behind have him covered. People will often do this with JJ or AK, and you’re not doing well against those hands – QQ+ is not out of the question either. Considering it’s unlikely villain has 99 or 88, I think we ditch this one – doubling up here doesn’t change our edge much, we’re already doing pretty solidly.

I’d probably raise-call JJ+ here, maybe AKs as well. Depends on how I perceive my edge at the table. The softer the table, the more likely I am to potentially fold JJ or AKs.

Preflop: I would raise a little bigger here. The smallest stack at the table has 30ish BB and I want to charge people a little more to play. Maybe something like $1,888.

Facing the shove: Easy fold IMO. V is shoving 43k into 3k with a lot of players left to act. Stacking off seems like a high variance play here. I would r/c AA/KK here and fold AK/QQ. QQ would be a super tough fold but there is still plenty of poker left to play with your stack size.

You’re posting a lot of hands which is great.  But there’s no info you’re giving on opponents.  Do you use a HUD?  If you’re playing a lot I would definitely look into it.  You don’t need a massive sample to find complete spews… It would be helpful in all the hands you post.

@ginger  , Totally agree.

@icantmtt, I agree but we also can mini raise and  get bb to call with a much wider range which we will be doing good against also if we were going to raise the bottom of our range we will be risking less.

@lapp, thanks 🙂
