london_ace ??

hey

reads – V seems very loose passive

Not sure what to make of their mini raise otf ,  i decided to call anyhow, whether v will play a hand like Jx this way or sets i really dont know , since they are passive though they may play a strong hand like this. We're behind if they do have Jx , though i just dont see any reason for them to raise flop with that which makes me think if they're bluffing here with garbage.

anyhow v bets around 1/3 of the pot ott , rather small,  thoughts on calling/folding?

cheers.

If villain is loose passive then shows aggression that should be telling us something… That something I will let you have a stab at answering…

With TT we block alot of drawing hands and some paired hands in villains range and if we are going to call a flop raise then fold to the turn we should be folding to the flop raise imo.

I am medicore happy to folding the flop. Being OOP sucks against a loose passive opponent who has shown aggression.

I agree with Kalc. If he is loose he can be making this play with two overs or a smaller pocket pair, or something like A5/A8. All that you beat. If you put him on one of these and not a J pair or over-pockets then when you call that flop you’re never folding the turn as the 4 shouldn’t change a thing. With the amount of big blinds you have at this time in the tourney I have no problem folding that flop and moving on. That being said, if you have a read I also don’t hate calling this down unless he puts your tourney life on the line on the river because you’ll have enough big blinds still to play.
