Feels dirty to fold TT this shallow but feltmelter was 6/0 over 35 hands and silkysnuts is not a random.  I've played with him for years and he's not 3 bet sizing there to fold.  Is this a spot to fold TT this shallow or do you just go with it?

Uhg…

I have trouble folding these spots sometimes myself. Even if Felt folds Silky is not and at best you are racing against two overs. I think I fold here with the action in front, I think his 3bet is really strong since he is 3betting an UTG+1 who has been tight.

Out of curiosity, are you ITM yet? Near the bubble?

It is a gross spot to be in…if u really have a good read on him then fold.  If u were 10bbs then i would shove.  From what u describe, it sounds like a crying fold imo.

Given your read on SilkysNuts I think you reluctantly have to pass. He knows how you play too and will have factored into his MP 3-bet the possibility that you may shove over the top, with 16BB you still have time to wait for a better spot. I need QQ+ here.

I agree with a fold or a shove. I have been running into this spot a lot and it seems to always be 88 or 99 from the early raiser and AJ+ from the MP 3bet. So if you can fade two overs you could triple and not just double.

I think it's a fold.

At best you are against AK, given stats of UTG+1 and you saying SilkysNuts is decent. It gives him a very narrow range of JJ+,AK and maybe AQs.

I think this is a pretty trivial fold, unless blinds are litterally about to go up, but even then I probably fold

I probably fold also and wait for a better spot. To much action there for1010 in my opinion and you may be flipping vs 2 players. I would much rather get this in pre vs 1 player and not 2. Like you said the utg+1 opener is 6/0 so that should narrow his range alot pre-flop you could be behind to two players a decent % of the time.

10 10 is never good here if silkynuts has 99 hes trying to set in that spot and never 3 betting so your either raceing or crushed and you still  have action behind you. muck imo

wow, im i the only one willing to gamble in this spot nearrly 100% of the time. i have to agree with the play and shove and im nevr regretting it here.  we have 16bbs and we have a chance to double maybe even triple here. 1010 is possibly the best hand pre and likely the best hand we will see before we shrink even more. we're at 16bbs and the money is way off and right now we have a shot to take a chance and pick up some chips and move even further in the tourny. i much rather get it in with a made hand with our stack size than a drwing hand(ak, aq) as our hand have a good chance of winning without improving…

different way of thinking is all. we should be in the mind frame here as we are in the later stages of a tourny. we play for the win and not just to cash. we accumulate chips here and we have a better chance to go deeper into tourny.

to often in later stage play there is always a time when we're in a spot where we must decide on gambling for a chance for first or settle for the 3, 4, 5 or 6th.
