Villian had bein active enough, he had 3bet a couple of times and takin them down without a flop. He was playing 23/19 with 3bet of 12.3 over 60 hands. I had bein quite active over the last couple of orbits(mainly due to a good run of cards) and he would have seen me raise and take down a few pots without showdown and 3bet a coulple of times also not going to showdown.
When he 3bets me I'm unsure if he is ajusting to my perceived looseness or he has a hand. 3betting a UTG+2 open from MP would probably suggest the latter, Im not sure.
On review Im leaning towards a fold pre-flop as I'm not sure what good situations we can get into post-flop. His 3bet range is something like AK, JJ+, AQs (maybe) and a few bluffs A4s, 89s(I don't know how many bluffs he has given position). Calling I get no good flop bar one with a T on it given that roughly half his range is overcards and the other half is overpairs and playing oop is tough.
4betting pre turns our hand into a bluff and his calling range really has us crushed. Can I set mine profitably here or is it just a fold?
As played strange sizing on flop from villian, not sure what that means, could be trying to induce me to raise. I call getting 5/1, prob a bit loose I think I should just fold here, and turn is standard.

Pre-flop is a clear call, you're right that you aren't quite strong enough to 4b but you are getting great odds so it's OK even if you are going to end up check-folding a lot of flops. That said there are a fair number of flops where you'll be able to peel, but even getting 5:1 I dont think this is one of them. Go ahead and run the 3b range you gave Villain vs your hand on an equity calculator like Slice. I'd be surprised if you even had enough immediate odds to continue, never mind that you'll likely face further bets on future streets.

These are the spots i hate , when the v tends to bet so small , like what the **** is he representing? does he really bet this small with a strong hand like AK/AQ/AA/QQ? does he bet small like this with there strong combo draws like KJ ? or is he betting small with a hand like KK/JJ?
The turn does not change much at all , just funny how v decides to bet bigger on the turn.
My point is if he really had a strong hand why not bet more and build a pot, the board is wet , alot of bad turn cards that can complete straights/flushes ifv has those hands.
so now on the turn if v really had a hand those monsters otf he's going to have a boat on the turn , why would he decide to bet more then half a pot with those ott but not on the flop?
very weird line by v, if i was in this spot , i would of called flop as well , but no good comes from calling , i actually think raising is probably better , given that it's so unlikely he would play a strong hand this way.
