Was in a 5 d 2 r 1 a this evening and had a funky spot. Cant find the hand history for this as it didnt save for some odd reason but will be as accurate as I can.

So Im on 43 k at 500/1k lvl and have been fairly active on this table. Villain was recently moved to our table and was directly on my left with about 72 k. We had  no past history uptill this hand had played. I had raised in late pos once or twice vs him in the blinds with no counter attack from his side.

Anyway this hand is probably trivial but im interested to know from the pro's what they would do here.

CO on 32 k makes it 2.2 x, I 3b to 4885 with TT OTB. Villain shoves 72 k after a short tank.

Folds back to me… Hero =?

probably closer than it seems without reads, but because of positions i think i lean more towards a call.  Curious what others think.

JJ and AK seem the 2 most likely holdings here. Doubt lower pairs than yours just jam like this and we really can't thnk they will if we are readless or have no history vs. villain.

did i get it right: CO raises, hero (button) 3b and villain (=SMALL BLIND?) shoves, co folds?

with no special history and no hints that villain is an very agg player and does this with a wider range (because of pos and chipstack…) i give him credit and I FOLD TT with my 40 bb stack here every time

Yah i didnt think he was doing this with pairs less than TT. Its because of the positions aswell like KB said hence why I made my decision. Really didnt think some one would have AA-QQ here doing this, surely would be clicking me back with hands that strong. The only hand i was geniunely worried about was JJ… but my gut feeling he had aq,ak Really not sure If i was correct to call here and folding here I would be on 37 bigs with a decent edge over the others players so I defo see an argument for the fold.

@Badabing – you are correct, co raise, hero 3b, sb over jams 72 bigs.

I bet bigdog never folds here ^^ 😛

Just want to see what others say before I give away villains holding…

Looks like 88-JJ, AQs, AK, or squeeze bluff. Your fairing good against that range if I am right. However, I am not sure it is worth it when we still have 37 bigs behind and not an awesome read.

It sooooo feels like AK but I probably fold here.. if you think you have a decent edge over the other players then it makes this fold easier.

I don’t believe he shoves AA-QQ here readless. More likely he cold 4bets smaller with those holdings. He has AK here, almost every time.

Lol he ended up having AA. couldnt believe it wen i called. Yeh perhaps I should have folded as I did have an edge in  this sort of tourny. Just because of positions and the likelyhood of me being crushed was slim i decided to flip it v ak /aq. oops…..
