hey

reads - v seemed pretty active. My hand is too weak to flat so i decided to 3-bet instead and i think J9s is a decent hand for it. I'm not sure

if v calls 3-bets often or folds to 3-bets. we do have position on v and our range does look pretty damm strong for 3-betting a ep open.

Do you think my bet on the flop was okay?  i was betting for value/protection. In a 3-bet pot though i'm not sure if i should be checking this behind?

Only problem is their's a lot of bad turn cards like any Q, K or A, could improve v range of hands. we could get value from worse like small to medium pairs.

Of course hands like JQ/KJ/AJ dominates us, which makes me wanna check but i'm pretty sure betting has more merit right?

Turn is standard, doubt we are getting called by worse , mostly better hands are calling a turn bet and hands we got beat will fold, TT and maybe 99 might call and thats really icing on the cake, but even then portion of their range will have us beat.

So checked back turn for pot control. 

as for river , checking back was pereectly fine as played IMO , again dont think we are getting called by worse , only better hands are calling and worse are folding.
