UTG was running 28/12 over 25 hands – should I be 3b his open this deep and early in the tournament or is flatting in position okay? When the SB pots it on the turn I really feel he has a flush, but are there other hands he could be doing this with here? He's running 40/12 over 25 hands and his Agg Freq is 21 so any bet from him has to show a lot of strength – I feel he's more likely to check call his TP and possibly even 2 pair hands on this kind of board. Anyway, with TPGK and the nut flush draw do you stack off here, call and re-evaluate the river or just fold?

Yeah, its kind of a tough spot. When u flat this 2xopen pre you should know, that this is very likely going to be a multiway pot. I don't mind your flat, but with such a small open, I probably make it a bit bigger to discourage the blinds from just putting in another 20/30 and also to define the range of utg a bit more (its also a 6handed table). As played I guess I'd fold the turn in this situation. The worst option imo would be calling and folding the river. If u call the turn u have to call the river, because u are commited there. So u should either shove or fold. I think the sb is good here a lot of the time, so I guess a call/shove would be just to marginal. You certainly don't have the odds to draw to the nuts and you are not beating many hands he is doing that with; perhaps he could do this with KQ with the K of diamonds. But, all in all  I try to avoid those marginal spots especially early in a tourney. I would find the fold button there.

Thanks for the interesting spot.  I also tend to flat here a lot, but I am beginning to think that raising might be better to get the blinds out.  Without any kind of read on this opponent, I think he is rolling over kk, 2 diamonds or a set a lot of the time.  Folding would be correct at this stage, but I could definitely see myself calling in this spot.  Raising the utg might help you avoid this spot.

i doubt he has a flush, i bet he check shoves flushes, but it does look like 55,TT,QT or KK+ slowplayed pre, i think KQ is also in his range, but it doesn't make up a large enough part of his range to make this profitable.  I would I guess fold here unless this guy was a complete spewtard, but I don't really mind flatting an UTG raise in most spots with AQ b/c you are eliminating a lot of the hands you have dominated when you 3-bet like AJ, KQ, AT and so on.
