My question is about our turn play;
Its villains 2nd hand at this table – the 1st hand he 4x'd with AQs and showed when all folded
from the hijack when he 2.5x's it his hand seems weaker, but i dont want to 3bet and have to fold to a reshove with this hand given im in position and he probably doesnt have me dominated, so i elect to flat.
I like my hand on the flop when he checks to me so i bet for value from Q's and possibly weaker Aces
On the turn – should we 2barrel or check behind and get to showdown? b/c i wasnt sure if he's check calling again with a weaker A or a Q? and if he is continuing with the hand he might c/r the turn and put us to a tough decision..
as played – when he check calls the turn and then checks again on the river – at this point im hape to get it in b/c its pretty obvious he doesnt have a hand that has us beat checking again.
Thoughts about the turn please?

i would check back this turn 100% of the time. im not really sure A9 or anything worse ever check/calls 3 streets here, so that means you are just value towning yourself against hands like AK-AJ, QJ etc. it really looks like AJ/AQ to me
i always love the bet flop, check turn, bet river line with middling type hands like top pair ok kicker or some good middle pair, because it almost always looks bluffy imo – you cbet the flop, got called, and then when villain checks twice more you can bet for value on the river, and villain will call a lot wider because he won't put you on an ace as often, so would possibly call with KQ or even KJ.
I think you can two barrel here if you want but checking the turn is better imo. I feel like the double float is used much more these days. He can easily float turn again and jam river making your decision tough with the T kicker. Pot control just seems better in that respect, and to avoid traps with sets and two pairs.
Due to the turn card bringing in some more draws and two pairs, I think the two barrel is fine also with the intention of folding to a 3bet shove and giving up on some rivers.
Dont like shoving the river. Dont think you are getting called by worse and sometimes you are being trapped.
