This was a really tough hand i tanked for a long time before i made my decision.
Reads on villian: Aggrofish playing 37/27 not a good aggro player is a 50 on sharkscope it speaks for itself.
Preflop: I think a flat is ok and a 3bet is just as good but we are kinda deep to start off and i dont want 3bet and face a 4bet
and i also want to keep his range as wide as possible preflop. I also showed a pretty big bluff against him a few hands ago so
i think he is in the mindset of wanting to fight back against me as my own image is hyper agressive as i have sort of been running him over the last 20 hands.
Flop: I am not sure if i a check/call or check/raise is better i choose to check/call as we have a gutter an over and a backdoor
flush draw i think a check/raise is spewy because i would feel commited A turns. His bet size is also on the bigger size which
is usually indicative of a stronger range so thats why i choose this line. I think a check/fold against this player type is out of the question.
Turn: I think it is a standard check/call as we are close to the top of our range so thats what i choose to do.
River: I think this is a fold as the only thing we are really beating is an airball and i dont think this player is turning
his hand into a bluff as all the draws expect diamonds and fish just don't turn made hands into bluffs in genral. I expect his
range to be 2 pair and sets and i dont think this is a spot to hero call. For one, players don't try to bluff you after you
have bluffed them as it is kind of expected, and two i think we have stronger hands to call down here with in genral as
i would play my gutters and OESD the same way some of the time and i would be flatting big pairs a lot of the time against
this player type. Is my thinking wrong?
I am sorry the post is spread out as i just got a new computer and have not installed poker tracker on my computer as of yet.
