Hi all,

hustla16: raises 174420 to 214420

rest folds

There are 76 players left and our stack is just over avg.

Table dynamics: day 2 just started and I've been playing fairly aggressive to start day 2. I've only played 30 hands with villain on the table but he has been pretty active running 20/17/16.5.

Due to the size of his 3bet I was pretty sure I was flipping or splitting as I didnt think he would 3 bet this large with AA KK.

Now my questions:

Since I am pretty sure I am flipping and he is probably not folding is it the better play to fold here due to ICM and since I have a decent stack left if I fold?

I never fold AK here. I recognize hustla16 and it is possible, that he is doing that squeeze with any two, especially with so much money in the pot and with his chip stack.

And if I am wrong, AK is so strong hand, that you can double up here pretty easily and be in a better shape to win the tournament. 76 is still too much players left. You need to win much more flips than just this one. Take that spot and double up 😉

ya i agree, if you guys have an aggro dynamic it makes it even more justifiable, plus AKdd has greay equity vs his range here, and i think he may even find a fold sometimes, he still has to call off about 750k,  rip it in and scoop heaps, win tourney, repeat

Well, 20/17 and u being pretty agressive as well i would totally go for the kill with AK.

I mite be wrong, but even if he wakeup with QQ u gonna be coinflipping anyway, and just like suk said, 76 players is still a lot of players left. = )

I would go with AK here. Hustla16 is hiren patel whose had some very good results online winning a wcoop and a 2nd place in scoop this year. He is capable of squeezing wide here with his big stack. He is also on the button which adds to the fact this is a great spot for him.

Pretty much agree with what everyone says here, however, if read this correctly:

You have about 50bbs. You min raised UTG, and he full 4xd your UTG raise, correct?

I think this makes the villains hand look really strong, or a sqeeze with almost any two.

Your UTG raise looks pretty strong, is he compitent enough to overbet to make it look like a squeeze/bluff?

I think statistically you probably should get it in here, but I can also see puke folding here and waiting for a better spot.

May be way to nitty but why risk your life here when there are alot of small stacks to abuse. JMO

Like I said. This like the best spot for him to squeeze ever! He is the chipleader on the table. He could easily make that play with any two. It is unlikely that somebody will just call, this is why he made it so big. He basically puts opponents to the spot, where they have to shove or fold. If somebody shove on him, he could easily fold. Honestly, in this situation, I dont care about my hand that I am opening UTG. If I have A9o I am going all-in, if I have 23s I am going all-in also. If he somehow have a hand, than gg. Next day is another scoop tourney 😉

This advice is pretty spot on.  Perfect spot for him to squeeze here.  Way to many players left you are gonna to def need a few flips from this point on.  I'm going with it here 100% of the time.
