CASH ME OUT 912 ?????
What was the buy-in for this tournament? It matters cuz super small buy-ins people will spew here with K of hearts chasing the whole way.
I hate the overbet on the flop. What are you trying to accomplish with this? I mean, you have a really strong hand and it looks like your trying to chase out possible value and then you put yourself in an uncomfortable spot if someone flats or raises. I mean the overbet can only be called by better hands unless he is spew. Either spew with K of hearts here or they have a flush already or a set. I think a set would raise due to the board texture so I am thinking a made flush already. Again, depends on the buy-in and the possibility of spew players.
No reason to deviate from normal play here. Bet half pot on flop. If you get flatted, then with what happens, we are happy with the 2 on the turn and another bet is in store (half pot about). Probably check calling any none heart river just in case they are slow playing the made flush.

it was a $4.40 with around 260 people RUSH.
I hear you on the overbet, my thought was I am happy to take down the pot right here in such a wet board, If I bet 1/2 pot and he calls I dont really know if he is just drawing, slow playing a monster or just calling with a mediocre holding. Not saying it was smart but that is what I was thinking . I'll post more action later

isaac, i think you are missing a fundamental point here – we WANT him calling with a drawing hand!!
if you want to take down the pot here, do it with 34o next time, not with a massive hand like you have.
i think you can pretty comfortably bet and get it in on the flop, and bet/fold any non heart turn and river. by being scared of getting drawn out on, you are missing significant value (and also bloating the pot for when they flop a better hand than you)
if you bet 1300 on the flop then you can bet 2600 on the turn, and it has cost you 3900 which isn't much more than your original bet on the flop and you get 2 streets of information.
No doubt not my brightest moment, here is what happenned. clearly, he had the nuts and I wouldnt let go,
Flop: (t2435) 8 J A (3 players)
BB checks, CASH ME OUT 912 bets t2720, BTN calls t2720, BB folds
Turn: (t7875) 2 (2 players)
CASH ME OUT 912 bets t3060, BTN calls t3060
River: (t13995) 8 (2 players)
CASH ME OUT 912 checks, BTN bets t8228 all in, CASH ME OUT 912 requests TIME, CASH ME OUT 912 folds
thanks for your comments.
I think that you put yourself in a tough spot w the overbet. If you are putting him on a flush draw, as long as you bet half pot or a bit more he is not getting good odds to call. Once he calls that massive bet, what does it mean? Made flush, bad player drawing against the odds- you just can't be sure. That said, in a low stakes tourney after the overbet call, once I saw the turn brick, its all going in- if he has the made flush so be it. If you are betting smaller amounts you don't have to lose so much when he does have it.
