11$ nlh blinds 1400/2800 50 left, utg limps 50bbs utg 3 limps 40bbs i have 1010 35bbs i raise both call flop k/10/4 i bet utg calls utg 3 folds turn 9 utg checks? can i check this turn behind f or deception or should i fire turn too? he knows im playin tight if i fire turn he may fold one pair hand if i check turn fire big river wont it look more bluffy? i bet turn and he folds i feel i lost value playing hand too straight forwardly.

You started with 35bbs I would want to know how much you are betting on every street. That matters cause I want to know how much your leaving. If your opponents are paying attention then they should know how much you have left and know whether you are super strong. I think that kinda gives your range away. As soon as I see the flop I want to get it in.

Try not to be results oriented. Just because he folded doesn't mean it was a bad bet.
What's his range?

I am betting turn to charge draws while getting more chips in the middle to make a shove turn bet. No need to slowplay imo when you hit the hand…start building the pot. Best of luck at the tables!!

There are a lot of turns that are not bad to check back, a 9 is not one of them. For a couple reasons:
1. It improves his range some. If he ahs a hand liek j9/Q9 he now has a pair with his gut shot. If he has a hand like K9 he now has two pair. If he has JT or QT he now has a straight draw to go with his pair. Same with KJ/KQ. These are hans that will generally peel anotehr street assuming you dont bomb the bet.
2. The river can be a J or Q. Now I am not saying this as a “you might get sucked out on” I am saying this in a “the river might cost you value”. If you check and a bd river comes, you are nto getting the same value, so bet turn to get at elast two streets of value, if you check and a bad river comes, you effectively only got one street of value(the flop).
On a safer turn I dont mind checking, if you have a read that villain will spaz river and floated light.
