villian was LAG. decided to disguise hand with call. terrible flop as all can see. felt i had best hand on flop but was nervous of clubs. decided

 to check raise and lead turn to see where i stood. thoought long and hard about betting turn but decided to go along with plan. should i be

leading this turn ??

I'd play it a bit more straightforward.  I'd 3 bet a full 3x to 900 since we'll be OOP and then c-bet the flop.  Check raising and leading turn to see where you stand seems pretty expensive way to get info to me.  I'd probably just call flop and fold turn.

with 40bb i would 3bet and look to get it in pre. 

 

on the flop i would bet/call

 

turn i would check fold.

I don't mind flatting AK pre against laggy players but I always do it when I have position and when there's an outside chance someone behind me will squeeze.

I'd 3-bet pre and c-bet the flop to maintain the lead in the hand and take it from there. If he raised me or jammed I'd time bank and have to use my reads on him to make that decision.
