Really weird spot! Bttn limps, I flop top pr horrible kicker. Really felt I have to float flop with such a small bet. Turn is where I got confused. Should I be raising to find out where I am in the hand or calling down? After reviewing HH I do realize that my raise was too small. If I was gonna raise I should be making it 1150 and then shoving river. Does any1 agree or should I float flop and and chk/fold turn. Btw, I know I made a terrible fold on river. I think I was kinda embarrassed atm.

i prolly would have check called all streets.
your c/r on the turn is just spew imo, c/c for pot control is fine.
on the river if you want to lead small then you can b/f but it costs you a lot less if you dont raise turn
with the initial line you took I think you should be check calling the river. I don't really like the ckraise on the turn, imo you should check fold the river after this play, it seems like he is sucking chips into the pot with a big Q or a set. The way you played it you should have folded to his second barrel on the turn, it would have been better to put pressure on a limper by raising pre and leading the flop, abandoning if you meet resistance after that. Otherwise, like benny said, the check raise on the turn is kinda spewy when you are pretty sure you are behind in the hand already
Yeah I would have lead the flop for info and shut down if called looking for a cheap showdown. Your C/r on the turn isn’t believable imo. Another point is that you asked ‘should I be raising to se where I am’…as a general rule if you are unsure of where you stand in a hand you shouldn’t be raising. Bet for information, raising for info is generally a waste of chips. This will depend on other dynamics and opponent history of course but its good practice in most spots when you are unsure.

I like this line the best…..don't mind a small b/f on river either as it's very unlikely he is going to bluff/raise you on river.
