I have been seeing more and more players late reg and was just wondering if it is always an +ev move. What really cought my eye was the other night on merg(usa player) I reg'ed about 15 minutes late for the 22 night owl 2500 gnt, I was the 47th player to enter, by the time registration was over there were 113 ppl in it. with over half the field buying in late i see it as a positive move to be there and get my hands on chips asap. (obviously would be different if it is a re-buy) Any thoughts? Does it even matter?
