I would prefer raising preflop to limping behind. You get called by a lot of worse Ax and dominated hearts, and the latter has a lot of value this deep. Not sure about your limping range on villain, it’s pretty wide for an EP limp. Hands like Q7s are rarely going to be in there, and I find it hard to imagine villain limping A5o and A7o+ but not A2o-A4o or A6o. They’re either good enough to not limp any Ace or bad enough to limp all of them, I don’t see any players bad enough to limp in with A5o here being able to recognise the difference in playability between the weaker Ax.
That said, after you limp behind I think there’s only really two decisions (turn is kind of awkward given sizing but I doubt you can fold when you mostly either chop or win):
1. Call vs raise on flop. Since the ranges behind you are so weak I think there’s a good argument for raising flop versus that tiny bet. Villain will call any worse Ax, any spades, and likely most Queens, and since their sizing is so small and they did limp preflop it’s going to be rare that you’re behind. I prefer a raise here to something like 110-130.
2. Check vs bet on the river. To be honest since I think it’s hard to see villain betting turn with Qx and you chop with all Ax there’s limited value to betting. Then again, I think it’s very rare that you’re behind, and there might be some value in the possibility of villain folding away a chop if they’re afraid of the clubs. I would lean towards checking, but I doubt betting is particularly bad.
