If you double barrel it needs to be a shove because a normal sized turn bets means he has so few chips behind that he should basically shove over you or call and never fold the river.

So, readless it seems too high variance of a play to want to make.

Villain calling you on such a dry flop makes me believe he has a J like AJ/KJ. I'd just give it up on the turn and c/f and live another day.

check fold turn

if you are going to 2 barrel, you should always ask yourself BEFORE you do it “what am i going to do if he reshoves?” AND “what am i going to do on the river if he flats?”

if you plan to slow down on the river, or fold to a shove then you should probably check the turn

possible he’s floating but we dont have to risk more chips now to find that out

No reads, just give up turn. You may want to double barrel with a bigger starting stack and a known floating villain. Here your getting yourself too committed where he likely has a J or a 7 and not folding

Nice one peeps, all good thoughts – the same as I had!  I cf turn “to live another day”….

Hapetimes – exactly why i cf, I knew before hand I would just be donating chips to villain if called or shoved…..

Agree with everyone else in check/folding turn is best option imo.
