If he is aggro, I think I’d check behind on the turn to pot control and allow him to bluff the river, which I’d call unless a 4th club came. Plus getting check raised oTT will suck

I agree I would check the turn, then call non club river. If he checks the river too, then you might be able to go for a thin line of value and target a weaker ace.

Disagree. Bet bigger on turn and fold to raise. If I checked turn, I'd probably fold to a river bet, at least a big one. What exactly do you expect him to bluff with? I'd check turn if I had a club.
