Hey

No reads.

when v calls the sb , their range is super wide here , but thanks to andrew brocos, he's made it so much easier to hand read and to break it down! , so a thumbs up to you sir.

both of our ranges are really wide here , SUPERRRRRRRRRR WIDEEEEEE YO (sorry had to say that), when v checks flop and turn we can discount a lot of hands from their range i.e. monsters and even marginal hands like Ax hands like ax SDs &FDs i'd even discount those! (not entirely but u get my drift), so i think my bluffing range should be really wide ott, i'd consider this a number 5 spot to bluff. In other words we could bet pretty everything here as a bluff even hands that have may have showdown value like T2s or J5s.

when v calls my bet ott they may have sd like kx or a flush draw at the best so my plan is to bet my entire range on the river if it does not complete any straights. tbh though Even if the river did complete  a straight if v did check my bluffing range on the river would very very wide (again a number 5 spot) and rep those hands. I just think it's unlikely for v to check twice with a straight draw especially given that our range is super wide pre flop sb vs bb, they'll likely bet any draw ott imo unless they are passive of course!

anyhow my question now is do u think given that we know villains range is like super weak more leaned towards air, that i should had like bet a bit smaller like 135 or less..

You know you have a pair, right? I doubt V folds a hand better than yours to a bet.

andrew, I do realise i have a pair, you said that in a number 5 spot you can turn weak made hands  into a bluff?

I agree with Andrew in that i doubt he’s ever folding an ace or a jack so you won’t be getting anything better to fold and we have decent SDV so there is no need to turn this into a bluff. Just check it back imo.

I just don't understand why you don't want to turn your hand into a bluff here?

if v had ax they would of likely bet turn and river, any reasonable opponent would be betting any ax for thin value  IMO , i also think any ax would of been raised pre flop.

v has either got a marginal hand (at the very best) and air/draws in their range.

i agree that he's never folding anything better , but the thing is v does not have anything better then a Tx anyhow

lol wait a sec ….ahhhh man…so although villians range is weight towards marginal/air theirs no point turning our hand into a bluff because we have showdown value , he's only calling with better hands , like Jx or maybe even Ax which (is marginal) and he's playing this a bluff catcher?

i still think though ax is unlikely to be in his range , as again better players would be this for thin value ott and otr.

I just sometimes get confused , just need help , so yeah all comments are apperciated.
