Anyone think stack sizes are not good for a 'any 2' card shove here? I removed my cards from HH , I do not have premium starters.
Thx

i think you are a bit short for a resteal with any two – i think he is calling this with most of his opening range, even if that is super wide – i.e i dont think he ever folds A9 or 55 or KJ here, which you would probably him to do to make it an effective resteal.
i would wait a bit longer till you have a hand that you can open shove with.

Don't like the shove here with any two. Being as aggressive as he has been and pot odds are there for him as well as knowing his losing this pot does not cripple him expect a call and get ready to gamble with junk. If his starting stack was 9000 then I would think there's enough fold equity for him to lay down his junk.
Hey Kevin,
this is not a resteal spot, because of your stacksize. Villan is getting 2:1 to call and he should make the call with almost all of his range there. If u saw him raise folding to a 10bb stack before – even today players tend to do that a good amount of the time-, then I could see u shoving as a bluff. Also: villan should not really be light in this spot, because he is commited to all those very small stacks behind. And if you shove, someone behind could easily call, too. With 10bbs try to shove first in. 15-25 bbs is a nice resteal stack. To shove in your spot, over a very aggressive villan, I would need probably AT+, 77+, but I guess that would be the bottom line for me. Thoughts?
