I recently came accross the Nash Equilibrium, my question is how many of you use Nash with utter discipline? All heads up decisions are done through Nash to call or shove? Are you taking your HUD Stats into consideration or is it irrelevant? Just wondering for those who have used it for a while can give me some insight about it.

Thanks,

Voidshift.

NE is an unexploitive hu chart. Once u start getting reads on your opp's range based by his hud stats, betting patterns, tendencies, etc, then u will be making major adjustments to the Nash chart.

Now you are playing exploitive poker and are no longer using Nash.

Supposedly, playing effective exploitive poker is much more profitable in the long run than playing non-exploitively.

Hope this helps.

I’ve printed and laminated a little Nash HU matrix and have used it in the past. It was mainly a means of conditioning my calling and shoving ranges. I’ve since become comfortable with my HU game to a point where I don’t consult the matrix. For me it was purely an exercise in range familiarization.

…..ources.net  has the HU Nash chart.

It also has an ICM Nash Calculator – one of the most useful tools out there.
