So i have decided to play the TCOOP 700$ Main event on sunday. I have had good results so far this year, done a lot of study and exercise every day, gotten a coach and playing the best poker of my life.

Just in the last 7 days i have 12th and 9th in the big $55, 10th in the hot $55, 33th in the sunday million and a 1st place score of 10,8k the hot $82 all on pokerstars. Sick brag lol!

Dunno what tips i am looking for but if anyone has some advice going on playing this main event i would love to hear it. Can be advice on GTO music or anything really. I am gonna 1 table it for sure and listen to elliot roe mp3 before i start and sharkscope everyone at my table at all times 🙂

I will Probably play the sunday million too. But thats it. Playing my normal schedule would be like like 4-10 tables at that time 20-215$ MTTs.

There is no point in having 20-160$ MTTs distract you and make you lose spots and reads in a tournament with a buy in 5-35 times that. Will always play insanely much better 1 tabling. But yeah i guess just playing the normal game and fully focused is gonna be the best. The structure is interesting though (Y)

Thanks! Running good is my main strategy:)

Also i have supernova status and i am kinda not sure to display it or not. I usually show it cause it can help put a bit of fear equity in people not stealing as much etc. But not displaying it has benefits too as people have somewhat less info on you and can help me get away with certain things. Thorn on this one.

I guess it depends on how many regs tend to be in these events. (A lot of recreational players satty in, yeah?) Regs will know who you are because of HUDs and sharkscope, which means displaying it doesn’t make a difference. But recreational players (who know what it means) could react differently.

It’s probably part of a larger discussion whether it’s ever warranted to show it, other than to show off.
