unreg pre if the BO=button??? can donk lead but should be BB based on preflop action surprised

well now in all seriousness

1.) not folding pre

2.) maybe raising flop

3.)not 100% sure about turn

4.) 100% not folding river vs that nonsense line in a 1$r on ipoker

As played, he has a 3. Fold on the river, that’s my read given the line he’s followed.

He donks the flop, then get scared by your call and slows down trying to block his way to showdown… then suddenly with the 3 on the river goes crazy and decides his hand is good after all with a huge bet of 3/4 of the pot. I don’t think our 9 is good any more. I don’t generally dislike the play on flop and turn given his line, but then on the river I think we are beat most times and I am personally folding. His line screams 3 to me.

Hero has a flush. Also you shouldn’t be making such narrow reads, putting an opponent on an exact hand like this. Opportunities to do that are rare.

Sorry, completely misread the hand, I read T9s as suited, not as spades and hadn’t realized the flush has completed, we can disregard my read and my comments completely then laugh

@florianm1:

2) Do you reraise flop to gii, right?

3) What are you not sure about? Reraise size? What do you think is a better sizing?

4) Call or shove river?

not sure how thrilled i am gii with 40BB eff mid pair plus FD.

turn sizing is ok it seems if we raise. but should we? what are we doing vs 3bet?

river what worse hands are calling us?

i tried to give him a range preflop of:

TT-22,AJo-A2o,KQo-K6o,QJo-Q7o,JTo-J8o,T9o-T8o,98o,87o,76o,65o,ATs-A2s,KJs-K2s,QJs-Q2s,JTs-J5s,T9s-T5s,98s-95s,87s-85s,76s-75s,65s-64s,54s-53s,43s,32s 50%

that gives him 26 combos of flush or better.

we loose vs 21 combos if he calls with all his flushes and better.

to call we need to pay 31k to win 75k so we are getting 2.4:1 which means we need to be good 29% of the time to break even.

so for every 2.4 combos we are beat we need to find at least 1 combos we are ahead he is betting. as mentioned above he has 21combos that beat us that means we need to find 9combos.

so lets see what we beat:

flushes: 5

trips: 18

=23 so if he is betting all these than we have an easy call.
