Interested to know what you would have done in this situation:
Chip counts: Leader $32Mill, Second $16Mill, Hero $4Mill, Short stack $2Mill
Blinds: 200,000/400,000
Payouts: 1st = $170k, 2nd = $130k, 3rd = $91k, 4th = $62k
Big stack shoves from button, folds to Hero in BB with A9 suited (with only 10BB behind), do you call or do you wait for a spot to be the aggressor and try to outlast the short stack for a 30k pay jump?

With the short stack on 2M I think this is a fairly comfortable fold, I’d imagine folding a hand as strong as AQ or 77 could even be good here. The short stack is very likely to be all-in within the next few hands and that creates a massive disincentive for us to get all-in here.
