I am looking to get some peoples opinions of this hand from todays Sunday Million. Myself and the Villan were both deep stacked approx 100bbs each. I forgot the guys HUD stats but from what I remember he was opening a lot of hands and also tried to c/r bluff me off a hand a few hands before, so an aggro player based on the few hands I had played with him.

I can't get the TPE converter to work, so I just posted direct from Pstars

My questions here are as follows

1) Do you call/raise/fold such a large 4-bet pre-flop at this stage of the tournament with our stack?

2) When he jams the flop, can we fold here? Leaving us still a deep stack.

3) What kind of range do you put the villan on when he plays it this way?

I will reveal the results and the villans hands when I get some insight from some members.

Thanks,

1) Do you call/raise/fold such a large 4-bet pre-flop at this stage of the tournament with our stack? You say he's been agg, but is he capable of 4 betting light?  Has he been four betting a ton in response to 3 bets, or is this the first time? if he has been doing it a ton, I might even 5 bet pre. If the opposite is true, 3 bet folding may be the best option As it stands, you just committed 30% of your stack, so you better be certain that you are doing this with a clear purpose postflop.

2) When he jams the flop, can we fold here? Leaving us still a deep stack. As played, I'm assuming in 1 that my villian is4 betting light (otherwise I folded pre), so I call, high five the monitor, and pray he didn't hit the one potential light hand of 6-6

3) What kind of range do you put the villan on when he plays it this way? See response to 1) if he's capable of 4 betting light, a lot wider than if he is not (includes small pairs, two face cards, maybe even suited connectors!) than if he is not , (which pretty much limits it to K-K A-A maybe A-K, imo).

Thank Mike

I agree totally. In the hands I played with him which was a small sample, he had been playing aggro but I do not recall him 4-betting and this was such a large 4-bet that maybe I should have just folded and waited for a better spot. I think if do decide to play this going forward I should always 5-bet to get it in as like you said its 30% of my stack just to call, but fold based on his hud stats is probably optimal in this particular situation.

I would fold or 5bet jam pre. Without a note he 4bets light then I prolly fold at this stage.

As played I call flop jam.
