"Sunday Bloody Sunday" Need Help, Just Can't Seem To Get Anything Going On Sundays

Do you guys do anything different/adjustments for the larger field sunday tournaments.

Are there any pitfalls that you might know of that players like myself who struggle to even cash in a MTT on sunday can fall into.

I seem to build my roll up on week days to give most of it back on sunday.

I will admit that i do have more tables going at once and tend to play on more different

sites on sundays than i do  thru the week.

Looking forward to any advice and discussion.

Sundays are just higher variance because of the field sizes so you can be playing perfectly well and show worse results because of it.  However, a good mindset to adopt is to try to extract value from your big hands rather than try to pull of fancy plays. Since there are a lot more casual players you can't expect them to understand multi-line bluffs of fold top pair.  Just focus on getting the most you can from the 2nd best hand, at least early.  Later on take advantage of bubbles.  this is one of the things bigdog does best.  He abuses people at later stages because they play more scared.  GL!

In general, you need to play far more aggressive on Sundays.

I think ones mental apporach to sundays plays a huge part in success or fail.  I personally like to relax Saturday nights and get a good nights sleep. In the morning I try to get a good healthy meal and a coffee in me before I play. If you can get to the gym or do some kind of physical activity I think it will get you a clearer mind before you play too. You really have to go into Sundays wanting it bad and plan on winning. Try to block out past Sunday failure and really focus on positivity no matter how bad your first few tourneys may go in the day, there are lots more to be won.

Poker wise, the only real adjustment I make is trying to keep tables down. 8-10 and no more on Sundays is what I prefer all day. The higher the buyins the less tables you should be playing imo. I grind all stakes and mass table all week for a reason, to build a roll and confidence for Sundays to focus on making real money and hitting that big score that matters.
