hi all this hand is from the final table of the merge sunday 60k. villan has been really agg since we got down to last 2 tables playing 34/30 over 130 hands and 3 betting 13.6% of the time. i have shoved on him out of the blinds twice in the last 4 orbits and had seen him call off with AJs to a 4bet shove for 25bbs close to FT bubble. are you shipping here?

this is all about dynamics. the more you shove on him the lighter you will get looked up.

i like the rule of thumb that the third time you should have it. first time, they give you credit, second time they think next time he shoves i'll call light, third time they actually call you down.

obviously it depends on who the villain is though. normally this is a great resteal spot, you have a blocker and 30% equity at least when called. but if you dont think it will get through it probably wont

totally agree with Ben here. In a vacuum this is a great shove spot, but I will often go with my 'feel' – that sounds superstitious and bogus but in reality even online you can pick up when someone has had enough of you jamming on them.
