I need some insight on improving off the felt. Can anyone who has significant MTT success tell me, as they were moving up in stakes their daily study habits/routine, daily hand amount, software, etc. Looking to improve my daily work ethic as I have an everyday job and need insight on what kind of time I need to put into improving my game significantly.

10k hours to become an expert. That’s about 40hours a week for a year. Treat it like a job.

youre already off to a good start. being here and taking enough care to spend money on a membership is a very good first step. as i was starting out, i didnt do enough to try and get better – it wasnt until an intensive boot camp where i learned most of what i know now. since then i like to do HH reviews w/ students or by myself to see how i feel about things i did (give it a “second look”). i probably do this once for every 5 full sessions i play. i would suggest at earlier stages of your career you do it every 2 to 3 times you run a session. or, if you dont like doing your own HHs or have a group to do them with, id suggest trying to watch 1 video series per every 2 or 3 sessions you play. watch, let it digest, give it some time to get incorporated into your game, and then come back for more.
