Hey Guys

I often find myself getting worried around 25-35BB. I start to open my game up more and sometimes put myself into awkward spots. I guess my question is What is the key to staying ahead of the curve? When should I be looking to open up my game a touch 50-60BB? 40BB?

If you go into the TPE University Forum and click on the link to middle stages there are some videos and forum posts relating to chip accumulation etc which I expect have some good material on your question above.

Its difficult to give a full answer to your question above as a lot depends on not just stack size but table dynamics, game flow, tournament stage, whether there is a bubble and so on. One thing I will say though is that you need to open your game up where profitable before you get below 30bbs ideally.

Have a look at the forum mentioned above and see if there is any stuff in there that answers your questions. Let us know how you get on if you find some good stuff.

Track table flow and identify weaker players, this help you to pick your spots with higher success rate.

Watch some of our videos which contains mid-stages of the tournament material.
