Firstly congrats on the deep run – to navigate through such a big field is a fantastic effort.
It’s definitely one of those interesting spots. Because the original villain was so active, you would tend to concentrate on his tendencies. But did you have any sort of read on the SB because this seems really important..
Min 3 betting with that stack, at that stage of the tourney, seems either really strong or really fishy.
Could you have possibly gotten more info by clicking it back rather than jamming? You would look super strong and would then either take it down or get raised only by a legit hand. I understand there are push/fold dynamics here, and I don’t profess to have mastered them so my 4 bet theory could be completely wrong. It just seems like a way to represent strength without committing your whole stack to do so.
