I prefer to double barrel here, but you have to fold to the shove unfortunately. You're still left w 30bb. Villain could def have a 5 like A5s, 65s or 45s or something like KQ/KJ of clubs and decided to reshove if he didnt put you on something stronger than a K but still has a lot of outs if you do. Maybe villain perceived you r turn bet as weak since you bet under half pot and thought he could semi-bluff you off of your hand.

I'd raise it pre aswell and double barrel fold. Would prolly bet just over half pot instead of under half pot, but otherwise I would play it the same way. By checking the river you would give away control over the pot and c/r ai on the turn would only scare away bluffs or inferior draws. So I'd double barrel and if villain would just call the turn I'd mix it up between triple barreling feinting strenght (by betting a blocker/valuebet) or c/f depending on your read.

Double barrel is a good line because of stack sizes. If an A or heart hits the river you can bet close to pot to make it look like a bluff and likely get called by Kx almost every time since people really dislike calling the flop and turn and folding the river.

i get in these spots and wish i folded pre

what does this guy have? looks like he picked up a draw somehow, and if he has A5s then he’s kind of overplaying it isnt he?
all his K’s probably flat here again or fold, mid pairs fold also

As played i’d play bet turn as you did given that the turn did NOT look like it changed anything

alternative line would be check call turn but then you give up control and check fold a missed river

we just have to give up here when the turn plays as it has

Im not cbetting into 4 players OOP here. I may checkraise flop depending on action/villains behind me, im not looking to get too committed against 4 seemingly loose oponents with a drawing hand

I disagree G0liath. This is a great flop to cbet I believe. You can def rep AK/AA/KK here with a fd out there and if you turn the nuts you'll either get more value from a K, a smaller flush or maybe a slowplayed set.

I just dont like to bluff into 4 opponents probably because i have a tendency to multi-barrel-spew. Early on in a tourney especially. Plus the donks at $5 dont ever fold top pair anyway so i dont think you get any less value from the times you hit your flush, they aint folding. In essence im just playing ABC

The bet is not a bluff. It is a pot builder/value for when you hit the nuts and gives you a chance to just take it down in some scenarios. Once you show strength with the double barrell though and then you get 3bet on this turn, then you gotta fold.

i think a semi bluff is actually in the 'bluff' category though

we cant really say we are betting for 'value' either b/c we are almost certainly behind at the moment we get called

i dont mind a bet or a check in this spot tbh

but as i stated before my preferred play would be to fold pre

I don't mind the c bet, but you can even get away with betting smaller multi way due to the dry textue of the board.  You will eliminate a couple of villains imo betting smaller while semi bluffing to the nuts. Your c bet can be read as a small bet to induce a spew.  I don't like so much a c/r because by c betting you are controlling the pot from the jump.  What do you do if you check and the villain pots it with a King to try to prevent you to get your flush?  If the villain(s) raise you on the flop you can then decide your next action while narrowing his range at the same time.  If called, I don't mind double barrel with the outs you have as well as trying to take it down, but be prepared to really fire the river if necessary depending on what falls.  The way played I don't think the villain is seldom bluffing.  I would fold after being raised with a 30+bb to play with.
