Pretty deep into the Wednesday Hundred grand, around 22 players left.

Villain is a losing player who I had 40 hands on villain up until this point, he had been incredibly solid and had only opened one or two pots previous to this one.

However, he had been a short stack for this whole period, and due to the crazy nature of the table this could just be due to him being card/spot dead.

That being said, is my shove here standard or too loose based on our limited history.

I probably fold. It looks as though villain is looking for action when he min raises with that many bb’s… I think he would jam small pocket pairs. He could have AQ or AK but I really think you crushed here more often than not. Plus it looks as though your table is relatively weak based on stack sizes. I think you wait for better spots and continue to dominate.

this is one of those spots that is 100% read dependent. If hes opening once per orbit with this stack size id happily shove and expect a fold a ton of the time. However, if hes hardly opening any hands without great frequency its a very easy fold. You have all the chips and its more beneficial to not gamble here and risk doubling him up (barring a read that warrents the shove to end it pre cuz he has a wide opening range)

Shoving seems super spewy.

You're the table chipleader. I probably fold unless the opener is someone like Dipthrong who raise/folds all the way down to 10 BB's.

I mean, what's your incentive to flip here? Or jam to win 5 bb's?

these are my thoughts.  completely read dependent in this spot imo.

read dependent.  He's more than likely opening pretty wide.  Shove is you dont mind the higher variance route, or fold and save the chips to abuse the other med. stacks.  I'm probably on the fence 50/50 shove or fold without reads.  Flip the coin and click some buttons baby!

Thanks for all the replies guys!!!

I'm definitely shoving here pretty much purely for FE reasons. If I think villain is definitely commited to the hand with his stack depth, and is not folding to my all in, then I wouldn't shove.
