The  guy opening is pretty active and didnt have any reason to think this open was super strong, flatter has been flatting a lot…is this just a bad spot for me or was I “correct” in taking this spot??

I like the shove considering the rationale you provided.

 

A third varaibale to consider is your image at the table. Considering you got called by qj, your image might of been too loose for the play.  But if you had a decent image I think it works enough to be profitable.

its a bit on the light side but not awful and based on ur read of the situation its fine. fwiw buddys play with QJ was awful

Cool thx guys, I just want to make sure my logic wasnt flawed….results aside obv…..i've been trying to put down my knitting hooks and ramp it up so wasnt 100% this was a good spot or not.
