MP1 showed Jd Kc and won 12,179 (6,562 net)
After the hand, I commented ‘I run good’. Then, two players who have many stars circling thier picture, told me I should’ve just called and then jammed the flop and I’d still be playing.
Am I missing something? Which article and/or video teaches me to flat a raise with 8BB with 10’s…

actually I do like to call out of the blinds sometimes and jam the flop but it is player specific and stack size specific. (i only play live so the reads are different). you had a great and you were ahead, I would make that same shove in that spot all day long
however, some people really don’t like to fold right after they put chips in the pot, if i think i am up against someone like that i jam after the flop because it is more likely i will get a fold.
it was a dumb comment to make because it is hard to be objective once you’ve seen the cards….

There’s no other way to play this hand. Don’t take advice from people at the table, even the ones with stars don’t know what they’re talking about. Once you see this flop, you wouldn’t want Villain to fold anyway. That’s the problem with the play you’re describing: it just helps your opponent play better against you. What if he had 33 and would have called pre, but then folds to the flop bet?

I was playing today and a player with 1 million VIPs lifetime started berating me about how my AQ hit 2 pair on the river. He wrote into the chat “every f**king time. i run sooo bad. f*****K” – I actually couldn't believe how a player with so many stars and has clearly seen that situation hundreds of times, could be so mentally weak. Just because someone plays a lot, doesn't mean they play well.
They were probably kidding to be fair. Maybe they are trying to keep themselves entertained while playing 1 table when they usually play more.

Thats not necessarily berating you, but that player letting off steam. His comments are not about you, they are about how he runs. As you mentioned, even though someone puts in a tonne of volume it does not mean they are great players. There are pre-rakeback break-even grinders out there that only make money after rakeback. Even bigdogpckt5s has mentioned before on the TPE podcast that he tilts hard and has broken things like keyboards, monitors etc. Not everyone has a handle of their insta-tilt and just because you are a good player playing the highest tournaments does not mean you should be intstantly immune.

I can see the use of the stop and go if I have Ax type hand, but with 10's, I want to get it in now. If I were to stop and go with a hand like 10's, don't I give villain the opportunity to play perfectly against me? I call, shove flop… if he hits, he calls I'm done. If he didn't hit, he folds and loses the minimum. I got him to put his chips in bad. That was my thinking at the time, just kinda got confused when more experienced players told me something completely opposite.

I just find it strange that people who play nosebleeds and have billions of VPP's still have massive tilt issues. I hope I can get to a level where my skill is so awesome that it could still overcome huge tilt problems. = )

Kalculater – To be honest, and this may sound harsh, but the games are much too difficult now to have a major tilt problems. I know what your saying but the players who have loads of experience, vips points, previous wins etc etc are just not going to be successful in 2015 onwards if they have big tilt issues.
Losing while making correct decisions and making very difficult marginal decisions that feel horrible at the time, but you know are correct, are a big part of the game and the people that can’t handle that, should really take up a different lifestyle. Its harsh, but poker is too competitive to have a leak that big.
Anyone who starts shouting in the chat, regardless of how much money they’ve won in the past, is not to be feared as much as a player with 70% of his skill, with a stronger mental game, in my opinion.
