The Kids are getting bigger and are requiring more of my free time.  I don't have the 5-6 hours to put into MTT's any more.  Thinking about grinding single table SNG's and 18 man's for an hour or two during the weeknights and hitting the MTT's on the weekend.  I read Moshman's book a few years ago and will be rereading shortly.

Questions to the Nation:

1.  Anybody else following the above format?  If so, hows it working out.

2.  Is Moshman's book still relevent today?

3.  Can you give links to Push/Fold charts that are helpful?

4.  Any Videos on this site and others that I should watch?

moshman's book got me feeling more comfortable playing 5-15bb in 9 man sngs less than a year ago, so if you're not going in blind it should still help a bit

…..push-fold/

Try this link to Marc's push/fold post.  I use it all the time when I'm playing and it's helped a lot.

Here's the link to the actual push/fold chart.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AiRCAFDKL6fIdHE0QWt5elZMUkU4YzVrSlBVZk5EMFE&hl=en_US#gid=0

print out each chart, and have them right next to you while you play.  make sure you print out the correct ante structure too, because it makes a difference.

Thanks, I have these charts.  Mine look a little different.  They have been raged on a few times.

Hey Nat… I like you have a very busy life with three elementary kids at home so I know what it's like during the week. I can't seem to have one day during the week that I can sit through a full MTT session. I am not sure where you are living but I am in US and live in Kentucky (which is a double wammie for Online Poker). I play poker most of the day and spread out with ring games, SitNGos, DoNs and Turbo games on Black Chip Poker.

I also play MTT's but have to plan ahead for them. I'd love to have more of a volume to play them but it's very difficult. I would suggest Marc Alioto's and Jeff Romano video of DoN's (Merge and Bovada). I would also suggest of course DannyN13's videos on Turbos. He is a master at those.

Another option for you is SealsWithClubs. They have some MTT's there that last at most 2 hours due to small field sizes. There are only like 3 tables or maybe 4 on paid MTT's but it's purely a bitcoin site. If you want to know how to get bitcoins, PM me but it's pretty soft MTT games.

Hope that helps!

Thanks weeeeee, I also live in the states, Pa.  Between Bovada, True and Carbon, I can usually get about 8 to 10 tables going for a few hours at night.  So far the schedule is working, unfortunately negative variance is working also.  Bovada has some nice turbo MTT that I am running at the same time as the SNG's.
